Work to install new power cables at the George Crossroads and Boston Road may cause traffic delays in the town.
Western Power Distribution is to begin work to install new cables and upgrade existing ones at the crossroads and down Boston Road to Old Market Avenue starting on 26 September, with work ongoing until 18 October.
As part of the work being undertaken at the crossroads there will be a four way traffic control in operation, which is likely to cause delays at peak times. Western Power Distribution have stated that the traffic controls are likely to be in place for up to five days, before work moves down Boston Road towards Old Market Avenue.
