Incident 174 refers to a burglary at a property in Hagnaby Road, Old Bolingbroke. The offender gained entry through a rear kitchen window between 10am and 10.20am while the owner was out walking her dog. An untidy search was made of bedroom drawers and a handbag stolen.
Incident 238 ocurred between 7.30am and noon at a house in Park Avenue in Hundleby. The property was entered via a rear window and jewellery and money stolen from bedroom drawers.
Incident 294 relates to a burglary that was discovered around 1pm at a house in Mavis Enderby. The front door was forced and an untidy search made of bedroom drawers. It is not yet clear what has been stolen.
There was also a burglary that took place at a property in Mill Lane, Irby In The Marsh, between 10am and 4pm on Monday 28 February (Incident 302). The offenders gained entry to the house by smashing a side window and stole a number of electrical items including a 50″ Samsung plasma TV, Blu Ray player, Wii, and two laptops.
There have also been other burglaries around the wider area, with an incident in Horncastle on the same day. Police are appealing to local residents to ensure that they remember to lock all doors and windows when out and about, and to remain aware even when in the home as sneak-in burglaries occur when the resident is still at home.
Officers are keeping an open mind about whether the three incidents are linked and are appealing for any witnesses to contact Lincolnshire Police on 0300 111 0300 or Crime Stoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
