An 82 year-old Boston man has died after his car entered a ditch near Sibsey.
Emergency services were called to the scene at Willows Lane round 4pm on Saturday 28th February. A Jaguar car left the road in the area of the bridge, and entered the Stonebridge Drain.
The 82 year-old driver of the car, who was the only occupant, was taken to Boston Pilgrim Hospital but was sadly pronounced dead soon after arrival.
Lincolnshire Police are appealing for anyone with information about the crash to get in touch.
Update
Police have now named the driver as Alfred Peter Reynolds of Sibsey Road in Boston.
Mr Reynolds was a dentist in the area for many years and well known in Boston, Skegness and Woodhall Spa where he played golf regularly.
