Lorry Breakdown Means Missed Bins

A lorry breakdown has meant that some areas have not had their bins collected today. East Lindsey District Council have stated that one of their refuse vehicles suffered a breakdown which has affected some parts of East Keal, Spilsby and Woodhall Spa. Should you live in the affected areas the Council is advising you leave your bin out to be collected on Monday.

Resurfacing planned in East and West Keal

Resurfacing is planned on the A16 at East Keal and junction with A155 at West Keal. The A155 at West Keal will be closed for two nights for resurfacing work starting tomorrow, Friday 24 October. Local groups in Spilsby, Old Bolingbroke, East Keal, Irby and Bratoft have received over £1,300 in the latest round of councillor community initiative grants. The community initiative grant scheme allows East Lindsey District Councillors an amount of money each year which they can award to local groups and organisations.
