Lincolnshire Police are appealing for witnesses to a house burglary that took place in Spilsby between 18th and 22nd April. A house on Reynard Street was targeted, and a safe was taken. Police are appealing to anyone who saw anything suspicious, including suspicious vehicles, or persons in the area. If anyone saw persons carrying a safe in the area, please contact Lincolnshire Police on 101 quoting incident 382 of 22nd April.
A drug dealer who was caught with a stash of ketamine has escaped an immediate jail sentence after a court heard how she has changed her ways. Rachel Ellis was arrested in October 2013 after police raided her home in Spilsby and 71.5g of ketamine. A man has been arrested in connection with a burglary at Skegness Town Hall last August. The 27-year-old was arrested by Thames Valley Police and has been bailed until January to allow the investigation to continue. A substantial amount of cash was stolen from an area of the building where the car parking takings were kept during the break-in, which took place on Bank Holiday Monday.
