Enterprising crooks in Lincolnshire have beamed up three Star Trek costumes from a pub in Keal Cotes, near Spilsby.
Lincolnshire Police have set their phasers to stun as they investigate the theft of three James Kirk outfits, one a darker red than the others, and one an Admiral Kirk version which were kept in a cupboard in the porch of The Coach House pub on Main Road.
The third costume has particular sentimental value as it was handmade from shark’s skin by the landlord’s mother.
At some point between February 15 and March 16, these items were stolen.
A free meal and drink is being offered by the pub for anyone who returns the costumes.
Lincolnshire Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact DC Wooll-Rivers by dialling 101 and quoting incident number 168 of March 16.
Alternatively, you can report crimes anonymously by contacting Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
