Police have advised vehicle owners to ensure they secure their vehicles and remove their posessions after a spate of break ins in Spilsby.
A theft from an unattended car during the hours of darkness last night (Thursday 14 November) has been reported in the area of Granary Close, Spilsby.
The front passenger window was smashed and sunglasses in a case were stolen.
This comes after two recent thefts in the Shamfields Road area over the night 12-13 November with property stolen.
Police advise that any suspicious activity be reported via 101 or 999, if you witness a crime in progress.
The offender may continue to target vehicles in the area. Police are increasing marked and unmarked patrols in the area.
Police advise that vehicle owners should remove any valuables from your vehicle when leaving it unattended and also consider anything which may look to be more expensive than it is such as sunglasses or leaving cables on show as offenders know that people usually hide sat navs under seats.
If you need any further advice please contact the local Spilsby Policing Team via 101.
