The threat of pylons across the local landscape has diminished after RWE npower renewables latest announcement. RWE npower renewables had identified Sloothby, Monksthorpe or Welton Le Marsh as potential locations for a 40-acre substation along with pylons that would have spoilt local views across the Wolds.
